Hello, and welcome to my photography portfolio!

       Allow me to tell you a little about myself and the way I came to love photography. I was born and raised in the Land of Enchantment, New Mexico by an artist father and have always been encompassed by the art world. As a kid I remember my dad was always taking photos for his artwork. Sometimes he would let me set up my own still life scenes and photograph them. Because of my dad's career, I spent a lot of time as a kid in fine art galleries admiring many high quality painters. I have always been creative and in the back of my mind have known I was meant to do something creative with my life.

       After moving to Colorado I believed I had found my path as an educator; however, I discovered it was not what was going to make me happy in life. Throughout the pursuit of my masters degree, I was a hobbyist cosplayer. Although this was a great outlet for my creative side I was still left feeling lost. As a cosplayer I wanted quality photos of my work so I picked up my first DSLR camera. Having some Photoshop knowledge from my bachelors degree I became very interested in photography and editing. My interest grew over the last few years and I continued to be drawn to photography so I started my own business. There are so many different avenues to explore and I constantly work to improve my skills and educate myself on new styles and techniques. My hope as a photographer is to use my knowledge and creativity to provide my clients with beautiful, artistic photos they will cherish for a lifetime.
